Postcard Printing

Instructions on how to submit a job:

1. All requests to submit a job, must include your name, company/club name, shipping address, phone number, fax number (if applicable), size of printed piece and quantity needed (delays in printing might result if one or more of the above information is not received). A representative will then contact you within 24 hours regarding your job.
2. Options for sending your images:
  a.) If your images were created on a PC, then email them as attachments to art@netniques.com or click here.
  b.) If your images were created on an Apple computer, then email them as attachments to  mac@netniques.com or click here.
c.) You can also FTP your images to our server - call us for the access information.

 

Important Information when submitting a job:

1. A note about turnaround time: Factors such as mechanical breakdowns and shipping company practices are out of our control and we can not be held responsible if they affect a shipment from arriving "on time". For this reason we do not "guarantee" when a package will get there, however you do have our promise to do "everything that is reasonably possible" to get your package to its final destination in a speedy fashion.

File formats - Here are some of the more popular files and the conditions for submitting: 
JPEG - must be at least 300dpi resolution and CMYK color format.
TIFF - must be at least 300dpi resolution and CMYK color format.
EPS - must convert all type to outlines.
PSD - file must be flat with no layers, 300dpi resolution and CMYK color.
MS Publisher - files in this format will be converted for our printing process. A proof will be generated and sent to you for review and approval. Please be aware this process normally takes one business day which is separate from production time.
QUARK Express - print jobs in this format must be:
For Apple Computer only, we do not support Quark for PC files.
Accompanied with all images and fonts
Accompanied with a flat proof (in .JPG or TIFF file format) with register marks (This proof should display how fonts and images should look after output). If this proof is not supplied, the job will be delayed.
If you do not see it listed, please call to check if we accept your file format.
3. We are not responsible for proofing your work. By submitting an image file to us you certify that it is "ready for print".
4. If your job is color critical you must request a color proof (Not included in prices) 
5. All jobs must have an 1/8" BORDER from all edges containing no important text or graphics to allow for cutting. 
6. Please submit each side as separate files. Example: Side 1(Front) and Side 2 (Back)
7. The size of the file your submitting, should be the size of the file your printing. Ex: A printed 5.5 X 4.25 should be submitted as 5.5 X 4.25 canvas size not 11 X 8.5.
8. Please include all contact information when e-mailing your work. Example: name, phone, cell phone, pager etc...
9. If you prefer to FTP a job please contact us for instructions.
10. Once you've sent your files in, please call us to verify that we have received your files.
11. Once your project has gone to print refunds are not allowed. If a project is stopped before it goes to print any labor hours (graphic design, etc..) or administrative fees (credit card fees, etc..) will be subtracted from your refund.
